about PrivacyView
We are a group of technical and marketing people who were tired of Corporate America. With the growth of the World Wide Web, we decided to focus on privacy issues for consumers. We were tired of having our every move on the Internet being tracked by our IT department, ISP and the search engines. We were also concerned about confidential information on our laptops and having someone gain access to that information. We have other privacy concerns but we decided to start with PrivacyView and Private Proxy to address these two issues.
Our headquarters are in Tampa, Florida and we are a privately held company. We founded the company in April 2003 and launched the first version of the product in June 2004.
Our philosophy is simple; create an easy to use product that protects our customers' computer and Internet privacy. Our users are very important to us; excellent customer service is one of our highest priorities. When we get an e-mail, you can bet that you will have a response within a couple of hours. We enjoy hearing from our users and how they are using the product. It helps us to make the product better for you. Martin Greif - Founder & President
Marty is the idea guy and the one that originated the entire concept of PrivacyView. His background was content management in the corporate world and he thought, why not apply the same technology for the everyday home user with some added privacy features. Marty is instrumental in developing new ideas to keep us all busy while making the work environment a fun place to be.
On the rare occasions that Marty isn’t behind his desk, either at work or home, you can find Marty spending time with his wife and two children at either Disney World or Busch Gardens.
Stacey Mason - VP of Marketing
Stacey is the creative genius that gets the word out about PrivacyView and Private Proxy. She is generally knee deep in Google, Yahoo, the website and gathering all the statistical information to make PrivacyView and Private Proxy a better product.
When Stacey isn’t doing her marketing magic, she is running her two kids from one event to another. On the weekends, she can generally be found at a double-header baseball game with her son or watching her daughter compete in cheer and dance somewhere in the state of Florida.
